The "average" Reiki session is about 60 minutes. However, there is no set standard. There are various schools of thought on this -- some feel that one LONG session is better than several shorter sessions. Personally I feel that a little Reiki is better than no Reiki -- and if it fits your schedule to have a weekly 20-30 minute session, rather than a 60 minute session twice a month -- YOU be the judge! MASSAGE SESSION Fees vary in different parts of the country. In the Washington DC area the average fee is $60-75 an hour. At present I've completed the 500-hour training, and am awaiting the National certification boards. Legally I am not permitted to “charge” for Massage until fully licensed – but can Massage “for tips.” People have offered me $45-100 for an hour massage. |
